This work explores the theme of duality, questioning the reliability of first impressions. The artist suggests that what is visible on the surface may conceal a different, deeper essence, which becomes apparent only through closer observation. By inviting the viewer to look beyond appearance, the painting reflects on the complexity and ambiguity of perception.
Formally, the use of a hybrid figure and restrained composition functions as a visual strategy to destabilize fixed readings and emphasize the coexistence of multiple meanings.
