Thoughts and emotions gather, concentrate, and find their voice through art. From my own experience working with Ukrainian artists, it is fascinating to see how difficult living conditions can be transformed into works that feel completely positive. Extreme circumstances seem to sharpen the sense of life’s value, and of the preciousness of each moment. And through art, one can leave behind a beautiful inner voice for future generations.
