'Chulindra' is a mythical creature of Prymachenko's own creation, depicted from 1980-90. Chulindra holds a blue bird in her hands, which in Ukrainian fairy tales is a symbol of great luck. The creature has anthropomorphic features, such as her black hair and smiling human face. She wears a pink embroidered dress and a cap decorated with blue tulips. Researchers believe that Prymachenko reflected some of her own features through her fantastical creatures. Prymachenko created fairytale worlds, full of "beasts that existed before the historical era". As such, the characters embody a hope for a different, more harmonious world. Chulindra was depicted as a creature of good nature in Primachenko's mythology.
Prymachenko is one of Ukraine's most celebrated and famous artists, with her works being exhibited in museums across the country.
