Sea Dog is a playful guardian from the imagined world of Maslo Ceramics. Equal parts sea creature, dragon and loyal companion, it challenges familiar archetypes through humour and imagination. Covered in spikes yet smiling with childlike delight, it turns the monstrous into the approachable.
Hand-built in ceramic, the sculpture embraces spontaneity and expressive form. Rather than illustrating a known myth, Sea Dog invents its own — inviting viewers to imagine where this curious creature came from, and what stories it carries from the sea.
