The girl in the pink motorcycle helmet represents the metaphorical assassination attempt of the Nazirite Samson. Samson, man of the sun, was the last of the judges of the ancient Israelites mentioned in the Book of Judges. This painting is inspired by the following series of real events. After the statue of Samson in Kiev was graffitied by young street artists, a nation wide discussion was provoked in different generations debated whether this was a form of contemporary art. The pink helmet matched with the polka dotted shirt are representative of the contrast between the generations, whilst the ray from her left eye symbolises her perspective of contemporary art.
